LGBTQIA+ Young People in Barnsley

1. Why have we created this survey?

This survey is aimed at people who are under 28 years old and identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ Community within Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Barnsley Council's Public Health Team are carrying out a Health Needs Assessment to look into the emotional health and wellbeing of LGBT+ young people in Barnsley. There are 12 questions below which will take approximately 8 minutes to complete. 

The data you provide will not identify you, your answers will be used as part of the assessment to present to Barnsley's Emotional Health and Wellbeing Group to help us understand what services and support would help young people in Barnsley in the future. Your survey answers will be kept on our system for 6 months. If you wish to remove your responses at any point in this time please contact: requesting this.

At the end of the questionnaire, if you are interested in joining a focus group a contact email will be provided for you to join this.

Hate Crime (a crime, verbally or physically , because of a persons identity, race, religion, sexual orientation, or other reasons. This also includes name calling and being shouted at in the street)
Physical Abuse (when someone hurts or harms you on purpose)
