This year we’re looking to give our bin lorries a refresh and encourage the people of Barnsley to recycle right.
We’re asking all schools across Barnsley to get their pens and pencils at the ready to come up with the best drawings promoting recycling that they can.
The winning entries will have their designs on one of four bin lorries as well as the name of the winning school.
Our competition closes on Friday 23 February. After the competition closes, our judging panel will select the most creative entries.
It is up to each school whether they enter as a school, a class, or each pupil. Multiple entries can be made. Please upload an image (jpeg or png) or pdf of your entries at the end of the form. Please keep hold of your physical drawing once you have entered.
The designs should:
- Encourage residents to recycle their waste in their brown, blue and green bins.
- Show what should and shouldn’t be recycled in our recycling bins.
- Appeal to the people of Barnsley.
